Can’t find an available face painter?

Hi everyone! Yes, face painting and balloon twisting are still very popular at children’s parties, and most parents choose to celebrate their child’s special event at lunchtime on Saturdays or Sundays.

So, unfortunately those time-slots do fill up quite a way in advance. I feel sad turning down families who are planning their party on shorter notice, that I would love to be able to help out.

If you are struggling to find available entertainment, then consider holding a late afternoon party, say 4.30 or 5 o’clock. You will have much better luck finding face painters and other performers in that time-slot, even on short notice, and it’s also a lovely relaxed time of day to enjoy your guests.

There is also a huge window of opportunity in the evenings, early mornings, and on weekdays. Face painters, like other performers, generally don’t have 9-5 jobs, so are available most waking hours.
